Using FileCap to send large files has been made as easy as possible. In Outlook as well as in Office 365 and Outlook Online, you can simply add attachments to the FileCap add-in by dragging and dropping them into it from Windows Explorer or MacOS Finder. You can also browse for the files you want to send from within the add-in.
FileCap performs a check before sending the message and if you accidentally added files to the e-mail (with the paperclip), FileCap will try to move them to the add-in. If this fails, you will automatically be prompted to do this yourself before the message is sent.
Working with the FileCap portal, you can also very easily drag and drop files from the Windows Explorer or MacOS Finder apps. Also, of course, you can browse to the files by clicking the "plus" icon.
FileCap scans files and attachments for viruses and also checks whether file types and files with a particular extension are allowed by the organization's administrator. For example, executable files (.exe, .com, .bat) are often blocked because they pose a risk to recipients.
In addition, as a user you have the ability, if the administrator allows it, to customize the lifetime of the message (and thus the attachments). You can also determine how often a particular attachment may be downloaded by a recipient. Of course, you can also leave everything unchanged!
